Department of Nonlinear Analysis was founded in April, 1979 by the initiative of Doctor of Sciences in Physics and Mathematics, Professor, then Academician of NAS of Ukraine, Igor V.Skrypnik. He headed the department from the moment of its foundation till February, 2005.
